One of the first jobs I had on our family farm in North Norfolk was to use my woodwork skills to make a dozen 5- bar gates for the cattle's summer grazing meadows.
All my farming life any large scale woodwork on the farm fell to me – from making bullock feed bins to repairing the old horse-drawn trailers (still in use today but pulled by tractors!)
We had an old shepherd hut which I wanted to restore for my sons when they were young; but my brother believed the hut should stay on the farm. So I decided to make my own and the business was born.
Take a look - I like to think my huts sell themselves!
